Sean Hudgins

Sean Hudgins is a full-time Realtor and the owner of Tier One Coastal Realty, proudly serving military families, first-time homebuyers, and investors across Hampton Roads, Virginia.

Before real estate, Sean spent eight years as an active duty Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy, serving two tours aboard USS Jason Dunham (DDG 109) and one tour with Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron Four, including two deployments to the Middle East. He continues to serve in the Navy Reserves. That experience shaped everything about how he operates — calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and mission-focused on getting his clients to the closing table.

Sean earned his degree in Marine Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University in 2015, where he developed a foundation in data analysis and problem-solving that he now applies to pricing strategy, market analysis, and contract negotiations. He doesn't guess — he runs the numbers.

After years of watching service members get mediocre guidance during PCS moves, Sean entered real estate to raise the standard. He understands BAH calculations, VA loan timelines, and the pressure of a 30-day relocation window because he's lived it. That firsthand experience is why military families across the country trust him through Homeport Relocation Services, his veteran-to-veteran referral network connecting PCSing families with Navy veteran agents at fleet concentration areas nationwide.

Beyond serving clients, Sean is a real estate investor who owns and manages several properties in Hampton Roads, including a full renovation project on his own home. That hands-on experience means he can walk through a property and spot what most agents miss — deferred maintenance, renovation potential, and true investment value.

Sean was recognized with the Circle of Excellence Silver Award in 2024 for his production and client service.

When he's not helping clients buy or sell, Sean lives in Chesapeake with his wife Nicole and their two young sons. He's a regular on the local waterways — whether that's fishing the Chesapeake Bay, cruising on his boat, or riding his motorcycle through the back roads of Suffolk and the Outer Banks. He and his family take full advantage of everything Coastal Virginia has to offer, from the Virginia Beach oceanfront to the restaurant scene in Norfolk's Ghent district.
